In an effort to improve our impact on the environment while also reducing our expenses, we recently partnered with Green Systems to upgrade the lighting in our warehouse. In switching from fluorescent T5 fixtures to LEDs, we’re not only lowing the number of kilowatt hours (kWHs) we consume, we don’t have to worry about regularly replacing bulbs.
Motion sensors were also installed so that lights only turn on when someone is working in a particular area or aisle in the facility. This will ensure that lights are only on when needed, and we’ll never have to worry about accidentally leaving them on after hours.
